Apple has released a new update for Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. Some users are facing difficulties to scan text outside the IRISPen application since then. The good news is that fix is really fast and easy. The IRISPen Mini, the IRISPen Express, the IRISPen Executive, the IRISPen Translator software were designed and developed by I.R.I.S. OCR ('Optical Character Recognition') and Linguistic technology by I.R.I.S. Detains the copyrights of the IRISPen Mini software, the IRISPen Express software, the IRISPen Executive software.
The new version of macOS named “Catalina” is now available but only works with 64-bit applications.
The latest version of IRIScan Mouse and IRISNotes for Mac are only 32-bit applications.
If you want to continue using the IRIScan Mouse or IRISNotes for Mac, we advise you not to update your macOS to Catalina.
If you have already updated to macOS Catalina, you will no longer be able to use the IRIScan Mouse or IRISNotes for Mac. We recommend that you check with Apple Support to upgrade to a compatible version.
